Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew( or CHOSE) you, before you were born I set you apart."

    There should not be a Bible believing Christian who believes that abortion is an acceptable choice for women to have.  For us as Christains to believe that God created everything, and CHOSE every human that has been convieved, then we must not allow our infinite minds to believe that God would want or desire for one child to be aborted.  
    What about pregnancy resulting from rape?  Obviously this is a hard question, but I believe that if we truly believe the Bible as the perfect word of God without error, then we must believe that it would be wrong to end a pregnancy for this reason.  There are horrible things in this world that we can't understand or comprehend, and rape would be one of those things.  But for us to make a decision to end a life that God has created (for a reason we may not understand) is something that I personally would never want to have to answer to God for.  We will all have questions for God when we get to judgement day, but one thing I never want to hear from God is "why did you take this life that I created and terminate it."  It is a question that would not have an acceptable answer to our creator.  
    When it comes to this issue we also need to understand that we are not taking the choice away from women.  There are plenty of choices women can make(whether to have sex, whether to use protection, etc.), but when those choices lead to the CREATION of a child, we must understant that God allowed that child to be created and we as humans can't think that we know better than the creator as far as whether a child should live or die.  Once we make a choice, we have to deal with our consequences.  
    I see abortion as a convenience issue for people.  I have a hard time believing that peope would have an abortion because it is inconvenient to have a child.  I am mainly speaking about Christians who would feel this way.   We are putting out convenience before the creation and will of God and I believe that it is a very dangersous position to put ourselves in.  We need to remember that we answer to God for all of our actions and I believe, again, that there will be no acceptable answer or reason that God would accept for making abortion a choice.  
    On a side note, God is a forgiving and loving God.  There are a number of Christains who have had abortions in the past.  We need to, as a Christian community, love them and be understanding with them.  All of the people that I know who have had abortions are very regretful, but they understand God forgives them when they ask.  
    We have a gracious and loving God, but we also have a God who has a very evident stand against abortion.  We as Christians have to stand for what the Bible teaches.  There are many things that we as Christians don't understand in this world.  But, there are 3 things we do understand: 1) God loves us 2)God forgives us and 3) God CREATED us!!
